Drama!

Why is that there is no drama like the drama of female frienships? I have had break-ups with men that have affected me less than when a supposed good girlfriend has let me down for whatever reason. Groups of women just can not get along. It’s like Chris Rock said “Women hate other women.” So fucking true! Currently the drama level is getting a bit high, which is why I am glad that I am going to get to escape and go back to the West Coast for a relaxing holiday.
Well, somewhat relaxing. I have invited a friend to come spend part of the holidays with me, but she is turning what was suppose to be a relaxing vacation (I haven’t seen my family in a year) into drama. If I ever get the idea in my head again that inviting someone home with me is a good idea I hope someone slaps me upside my head. I don’t wanna spend my holiday playing tourist with someone and I know that I am not good at that type of shit. I wanna spend my Christmas watching my mom make sweet bread and watching TV with my niece. I am too soft and didn’t say no to the things I am not feeling like doing, but that’s cool because I have definitely learned my lesson. I will not be tricked into doing shit I don’t wanna do anymore…well after this.

And to top it all off my iPod mini got ruined yesterday. My travel coffee mug leaked in my bag and my ipod got coffee in it! I am so pissed off. So before I go out and spend more cash on another one (I have to buy the stupid nano, which I don’t like), I am going to send it in to some iPod repair place and try and get it repaired. I’m so pissed at my stupidy with regard to that. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.
So glad that it is only seven days until vacation time.
Have a great weekend,
Miz JJ

Hey Miz JJ,
It’s true female friendships can be ever so dramatic. 9 outta 10 times I find the problem that most women don’t wanna hear the truth…I mean friends will bring up topics to me and when I tell them what I think or how I feel about it they get upset cuz i’m not going to sugar coat. I know sometimes it’s mean, but who would your rather hear it from? Your girl, or someone else who dosen’t care about you?… like when you see a chick in the club looking tore up, and you look at her girls like “You know you wrong for letting her come out like this!” lol! On the real though, I’m glad you’re geting a break Miz JJ, go get some of mama’s food, sleep in late and give your best friend a hug.
my closest female friends live 100s of miles away – i think that’s how we’ve stayed close!
they’re so cute, i want one…
i ♥ the little drama pic, do you mind if i use it sometime? sorry to hear about your ipod
@Miss Rose: I think you are right. I just need some mommy time to make everything ok. I am a 27 year-old baby!
@jacquelyn: definitely use that pic. my closest girlfriends live far away as well. i miss them like mad though. can’t wait to see them…in 7 days!!!!!
Have a great weekend too. Sorry about the Ipod. I hope all goes well with you West Coast Vacation. What part and when are you going?
I’ve been wanting an iPod but have hesitated for that reason. I seem to spill things. Are they that fragile?
Sorry to hear about the ipod and the drama. I’m sure things will look up by the time you get to the west coast.
i always say travel alone then you can do your own thing, have a great holiday
Tell her that the trip has been cancelled then go. You have friends back home right?
@gp: Thanks. I am going to Vancouver.
@brotha buck: I heard that the new generation iPod’s are very fragile. My mini didn’t seem that fragile, but it can’t handle liquid apparently. Heh.
@kg: I wish. I made my bed. This person has really been there for me and I know the holidays are hard for them. Now it’s my turn.
I feel ya on the drama thing. I don’t know what it is about females that make us so hard to get along for extended periods of time…maybe it’s the estrogen lol. But hopefully, your girl will look at the bigger picture and be grateful for this opportunity rather than be a pus and ruin your holiday as well.
Drama! I avoid it like the plague but it still finds me sometimes.
I’ve come to the point where I tell it like it is. Too much energy goes into these things!
Keeping my fingers crossed that you Ipod gets repaired.
@livin single: I wonder if it is all the estrogen…. I am hoping that my girlfriend enjoys the holidays because she has had a tough year.
@mwabi: I try to tell like it is as well. That is what gets me in trouble! Sometimes I am too blunt!
I’d like to believe that us girls are always the best of friends. My list of bridemaids over the years has gotten smaller, so I guess I can agree with Chris Rock.
Just tell her ass that you are on fucking vacation and she needs to sit her ass down somewhere…have fun:-)
@mizpowderpink: Lol! I’m already getting in trouble for being blunt.
females and drama go hand & hand. i am getting sick of all the drama myself i am getting too old for it. one thing that i noticed lately though, men are just as dramatic as females.
not the ipod!!!!! i have the same pink mini too…
@sweetlime: I sent it to get fixed so my fingers are crossed. I’m so sad without it though.
I hope the drama doesn’t follow you to Whistler!
I hear you though. It’s gotta be give and take in a relationship, and unfortunately that’s what causes the drama. Or maybe it’s that most women don’t know when to shut-up! Myself included!
You just give too much, and whoever is giving you grief for being blunt should be killed! Or get some self-esteem.
It’s like Miss Rose put it, they just don’t wanna hear the truth.
Oh well, you could just solve the problem by hiding like me! lol
Hey, it worked didn’t it?
Can’t wait to see ya in Vancity!
Mizz Kiki
I am angry because I agreed to Whistler. I never should have said yes to that trip. Oh well, what’s done is done.
